Orthodontics – A beautiful smile can boost a person’s self image. When teeth are well aligned they not only look great they are easier to clean. By age 7 the first permanent molars have erupted and the adult bite is being established. By age 7 we can evaluate the erupting teeth and if required interceptive treatment can be provided. Early orthodontic treatment may involve creating room for crowded erupting teeth, expanding dental arches or correction of crossbites to align the jaws.
